Ignite the Abyss

Feather hasn’t come back from the abyss

You were certain he’d be the one to purge the infection, but now you’re certain he’s failed along with every other warrior who’s tried before. The infection has been growing and growing; any and all attempts to strike it back from your village have proven futile. Wherever it’s burned away, more invariably floats back into place, sickly spewing out from the abyss below. Now it’s at your front door, and you don’t know how much longer your village’s flame will keep it at bay. 

So, the task has fallen onto you: the only remaining warrior of your village. Doubted because of your small size (you are incredibly freaking itty bitty, after all), you now need to use it to your advantage to stealth through the dark ocean. You anxiously leave your post, hoping that no infected creatures find their way inside the village in the meantime. Before you leave, you dip your trident into the village’s blessed flame and take some with you to fight against the infection. Spreading the fire to the deepest parts of the ocean is the only way you’ll be able to purge the infection for good and save your people. 

Just don’t let the flame go out

Controls

WASD - Move 

Click to attack - The flame in your trident allows it to defeat infected creatures!

Hold Space to turn off your light - Your light attracts enemies to your location, but be careful leaving it off for too long: your enchanted fire is the only thing keeping you safe from the deep-sea pressure!
